Green Team

What it is: Group for Prairie 4th-6th graders who are committed to environmental education and action for a healthier and more sustainable community and planet.

What we do: Develop and implement environmental initiatives for the Prairie community by encouraging Idle-Free Zones at school drop-off and pick-up, supporting cafeteria composting, organizing Walking School Buses...and more!

How you get involved: Meetings in the Prairie library afterschool every other Thursday. There are volunteer opportunities in the garden and in other community service, so if you have a conflict on a Thursday, there are still ways you can participate!
