Lego League Jr.

Lego League Jr. at Prairie Elementary inspires the science and technology leaders of tomorrow. Students learn programming and problem-solving skills to solve current world challenges in a team environment with parent coaches.

Lego League Jr. meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the multi-purpose room. Lego League Jr. begins September 5th and meets throughout the fall, with a final presentation either in early December.

Lego League Jr. is non-competitive and is open to 1st-3rd graders. The participation fee covers Lego robotics materials, engineering books, team registrations, team t-shirts, color copies of mini builds, presentation materials and a team pizza party. Parent involvement is very important and highly encouraged.

The Lego League Jr. parent sponsor is Jaime Peterson. To learn more, visit First Lego League Jr.
