Junior Master Gardeners

The Junior Master Gardener’s Program is designed to grow children’s knowledge by igniting a passion for learning, success, and service through a unique gardening education. The Prairie JMG program is taught by a dedicated group of Kansas State Extension Service Master Gardeners and volunteer teachers and parents. It is open to fourth through sixth graders.

JMG meets the second Thursday of every month (except October and March).

The parent coordinator is Dav Bettenhausen.

Prairie students show off the tomato and basil pizza they made with fresh garden ingredients.
